In the middle of 2005, Ice Atrium was formed by two guitarists, Blackhorn, who is the unchangeable leader, songwriter, and vocalist of the band, and Th. Blackhorn wrote the first song, "Ice Heart," which was the band's first single and unfortunately got lost on the internet. At that time, the band consisted of four members, including bass guitarist Nagol and drummer Kennedis. With this lineup, the group performed their first live show. Keyboard player Estarriol later joined the band and participated in the recording of the mini-album "The Blackened Branch," which contains three tracks. From 2007 to 2013, Ice Atrium experienced frequent changes in members, particularly among bass guitarists. Th decided to leave music, leading to a period when the band played with only one guitar. Later, guitarist Haborym, who had his own instrumental project "The Rusting of Leaves," joined the band. The first full-length album, "The Ages of Forbidden Race," was recorded in 2010, but before that, Estarriol was compelled to leave the band due to personal circumstances. Between 2009 and 2013, Ice Atrium was active in live performances and recorded another mini-album, "Prosperity My Lord." However, at the end of 2013, leader Blackhorn decided to suspend the band's activities due to the war in their country. From 2013 to 2023, the band was inactive, focusing only on writing riffs and concepts for a new album. In 2023, Blackhorn decided to resume the band's activities and rehearsals with Haborym and Barbaroy as the new bass guitarist. Shortly after, Estarriol became interested again and rejoined the band. Since then, Ice Atrium has been working on a new album.
